How are your bath & body products different from the ones I see in the stores?

Our bath & body products are packed with quality herbs, vitamins, and plant oils that are good for your skin. There is now growing scientific evidence that herbal plants contain a vast amount of active ingredients able not only to calm or smooth the skin but actively restore, heal and protect the skin. Some companies aim mainly toward making a product smell good by using alcohol-based fragrances in their bases and oils that just coat the top layer of the skin leaving a greasy film in a few hours. Unfortunately, these products do nothing for benefiting the skin. Our products are made with ingredients that penetrate and condition. Light fragrance oils are then added to enhance our products. Customers who have been using our products on a regular basis have noticed a great improvement in their skin, including texture and suppleness.

Which is better to use to clean my body in the shower, your soaps or body wash?

This is just preference. All of our soaps and our Hydrating Body Wash are great for the skin. All contain ingredients to cleanse the skin without stripping out natural oils. If you have very sensitive skin, we recommend using our unscented goat milk soap. This has a pH-balance closest to the skin's own and contains no dyes or fragrances that can be irritating to some skin types. Also, if you are one prone to frequent urinary tract infections, we recommend only using our unscented bath products. Fragrances and dyes in ANY bath & body product line may possibly aggravate the problem.

I see you mention "pH-balanced" in your products descriptions. What does this mean?

PH is the measurement of acids and alkali in the skin. Skin (the largest organ of the body) is by nature on the low pH side which protects against bacteria. Using products that are not pH-balanced can upset the skin possibly resulting in problems such as breakouts, allergies, and more common problems such as dry, irritated skin. Our products are gentle to the natural protective acid mantle on your skin. This low pH keeps the skin's protective proteins hard and tightly bound together.

Can you make your scented gifts in the bath & body fragrance choices?

Yes. All of our scented gifts can be made with any fragrance of your choice. However, if you choose the have the Dry Potpourri made in another fragrance choice, it will take approximately two weeks longer for availability. This product has to be cured for a longer period of time.

If there is a scent I like in one of the cleansers or moisturizers, can I get it dye-free? I am allergic to dyes but can wear fragrances.

Yes, we can make any one of our bath & body products dye-free.

I want to know what a fragrance smells like before I buy it. Do you have fragrance samples?

We offer fragrance cards. Please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your fragrance choice written on a note inside. Send one envelope for EACH fragrance. We can only mail one per envelope or the fragrances will all blend together.
